About Me

Orion Cohen

Computational Chemist || NSF Research Fellow || Software Enthusiast

Hi there! My name is Orion Cohen. I am a Physical Chemistry graduate student in the Persson Group at UC Berkeley & the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. I use high-throughput chemical simulation and machine learning to discover new materials for Lithium-ion batteries. This summer, I am participating in in Google Summer of Code to develop new tools for analyzing electrolyte solvation structure.

If I am not toiling at my computer, I am probably playing board games, camping, or enjoying the temperate Berkeley sun.

Check out my projects to see what I am working on! Or check out my blog for some unsolicited thoughts!
